Aspen Turf Removal has industry leading, specialized turf removal equipment and has streamlined our process to ensure minimal impact to the gravel base and/or shock pads, while separating materials for efficient, environmentally friendly recycling and reuse of all materials. Our skilled field crew are well trained on all equipment and carry all required certifications.
Loosen and bring infill up to the surface:
With millions of athletic steps pounding on a 10–12-year artificial turf field, the rubber and sand infill becomes extremely compacted. Aspen Turf Removal uses a specialized machine with 5 heavy duty brushes all interconnected with rubber wheels to softly roll across the artificial turf and bring the infill up to the surface. This critical step creates efficiency in the collection and removal of the infill, accelerates the cutting and removal of the artificial turf while maximizing the infill that can be recycled.
Extract and remove the infill:
We use an Industry leading machine with a rotary paddle brush and conveyor belt to extract the infill and transfer it into heavy duty woven polypropylene bulk bags for easy moving and hauling of the infill. The skilled field operators adjust the working depth with precision to ensure the maximum amount of infill is removed while protecting the base and/or shock pad.
Cut and remove wide strips of synthetic turf:
An adjustable custom blade cuts wide strips of turf without any damage to the base, accelerating the primary contractor’s ability to replace or repurpose the sports field. The wide strips are best suited for the hauling and reuse of the removed artificial turf.
